My flight would arrival Seattle at 12:00, but I would leave for Chicago at 23:59 (what a stupid moment), so, how should I kill these time perfectly? Make a short travel? eat around? hook a girl?….By the way, is the food around the Seattle International Airport more expensive than other places? I want to save money and get a quick lunch~~ and do you have any airport purchasing guides and advise?

With 12 hours, you’ve got plenty of time to leave the airport and do some sightseeing if you want.
1. There is a baggage storage service on the baggage claim level of the airport if you have bags you don’t want to be carrying around with you.

2. Transportation to downtown is easy via Link Light Rail – follow the signs to Link Light Rail (through the parking garage). Cost is $ 2.75 each way and the ride takes about 35 minutes. Get off at Westlake Center. From there you can catch the monorail to Seattle Center to go to the Space Needle and EMP, or walk several blocks west to go to Pike Place Market.
3. Food pricing at the airport is actually reasonable, though not cheap. All the vendors are required to have “in town” prices which means no price gauging just because you are stuck behind security. Head to the “Pacific Marketplace” in the central terminal for the huge food court with lots of options to choose from. (The south and North terminals have considerably fewer choices) Make sure you have what you want for your flight on the early side though, most everything shuts down around 10 PM.
4. Returning to the airport, make sure you leave enough time to get back through security, the lines can sometimes be long. But before you commit to a huge line you might walk down to another TSA station – all take you into the secure area of the airport and you can reach any gate from any entrance.
5. Finally, for the remainder of your time at Sea-tac, it’s helpful to know that there is free wi-fi throughout the airport. If you have an I-pad, laptop, or smart phone with you, you can log in and surf, watch a movie etc. while waiting for your flight.

This is my cover version of Green Onions. The ‘trademark’ chorded chorus and it’s bass line comes from an interview I saw with Booker T. in Keyboard Magazine. The solo is a copycat version of Booker T’s solo from the 1962 original recording. I have tried to capture in detail all ornaments/fast notes/grace notes that Booker T plays during his four chorus long solo. He plays them deliberately and frequently, and they are very important for the song. The left hand bass line I’m playing during the solo is picked from Lewie Steinberg’s bass line from the original ’62 recording. I’m playing at around the same tempo as in the original recording. I have also uploaded tutorial videos covering the chords and left hand bass lines I’m using for this version. with two kids ages 7 and 10, we are trying to have the best time possible on a few hundred dollars. we found a hotel for $ 63 per night in chelsea. before we leave we will pickup some $ 5 pizzas on my college discount to eat on the trip up there. i plan to pack tons of quick and snacks and drinks to limit eating out costs.
my question is what are some cool things that we could do that are maybe not listed in most travel guides. i have the obvious attractions covered because we have been there before, but i know there must be so much more to do there.

At the age of four, Rydell would sit in front of the TV and impersonate such performers as Milton Berle, Louis Prima and Johnny Ray. He also admired drummer Gene Krupa and began playing the drums at the age of six. At the age of seven and with his father’s encouragement, Rydell began performing in nightclubs in Philadelphia. In 1950, Bobby Rydell entered the amateur show of Paul Whiteman; his first-place win gained him a regular part on the show. He stayed with the Whiteman show for three years and then went to join several local bands in Philadelphia. It was here too that Bobby Ridarelli became the easier-to-pronounce Bobby Rydell. At 16 he began playing with local groups, landing a spot as a drummer for Rocco and the Saints. (Frankie Avalon, another Philadelphia-born musician, played trumpet for the group.)
